Akram Mchiti
Akram Mchiti is the Vice President of SkillsUSA Massachusetts. As a SkillsUSA State Officer, Akram is part of a team of highly motivated and talented students who have been selected by their peers to represent them at the state level. Officers work hard to demonstrate exceptional skills in leadership, communication, and teamwork as they aim to serve the members of our state association. Officers share a deep commitment to the mission of SkillsUSA and serve as ambassadors for the organization as they lead events, advocate for SkillsUSA and its members with government officials, and promote the organization's programs and initiatives to its students, educators, and business partners. As a student, Akram is a Senior in the Information Technology Services program at Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School and has a goal to become a force for good in the technology industry in software leadership roles. Outside of SkillsUSA, Akram likes to stay active in his community by being the chairman of Essex Tech’s Student Council, and the Senior Class President. Outside of school, he enjoys spending quality time with friends and family. Akram has the SkillsUSA Career Essentials: Advanced Certification, the SkillsUSA Framework Certification, CTE Knowledge Certification, and Communicating with Integrity and Authenticity Certification from SkillsUSA as well as certifications in Cisco IT Essentials, CompTIA IT Fundamentals, OSHA 10 Hour, Heartsaver CPR/AED, and is working towards his CompTIA A+.
