Apprenticeship Connections Program
The SkillsUSA Massachusetts Apprenticeship Connections Program (ACP) is focused on preparing student members to enter a state Registered Apprenticeship program or Union Apprenticeship with an employer or Union within the SkillsUSA Massachusetts Partner Network. It is our goal to help remove any barriers to entering the workforce upon graduation from a career training program at a high school or college/post-secondary school that has a SkillsUSA Chapter.
How it Works
The ACP is supported by business and industry partners from across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, with a vested interest in developing the talent pipeline and a skilled workforce for Massachusetts.
Through this program, SkillsUSA members in Massachusetts can earn four different certifications or credentials. Each certification or credential that is successfully completed results in members receiving important industry credentials. The certifications include:
First Aid/CPR
OSHA-10
SkillsUSA Career Essentials Fundamentals micro-credential
Career Essentials credential
SkillsUSA Massachusetts also provides opportunities for student members to connect with employers and work sites, as well as meet and interview with companies in the local area.
