Damian Cook is your Eastern Region Vice President of SkillsUSA Massachusetts. As one of your state officers Damian works hard with an amazing team of individuals to be able to better represent his peers at the state level. Officers work hard to demonstrate exceptional skills in leadership, communication, and teamwork as they aim to serve the members of our state association. Officers share a deep commitment to the mission of SkillsUSA and serve as ambassadors for the organization as they lead events, advocate for SkillsUSA and its members with government officials, and promote the organization's programs and initiatives to its students, educators, and business partners. As a student, Damian is a senior in the Automotive Collision program at Cape Cod Tech. Damian aspires to follow in the footsteps of his family and pursue a career as a firefighter. Damian has interests in health and fitness which has led him to captain on both the varsity Football and Lacrosse teams. When he is not playing sports, Damian enjoys spending time with his loved ones or his family pet. In his last 3 years Damian has worked hard to acquire as many certificates and certifications as possible, having amassed over 30+ certificates related to his technical trade including the OSHA 10 and has the SkillsUSA Career Essentials: Advanced Certification, the SkillsUSA Framework Certification, CTE Knowledge Certification, and Communicating with Integrity and Authenticity Certification from SkillsUSA.
