Lauren McPherson

Lauren McPherson is the State Reporter for SkillsUSA Massachusetts. As a SkillsUSA Massachusetts state officer Lauren is a part of a team of highly motivated and talented students who have been elected to represent their peers at the state level. Officers work hard to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and a deep commitment to the mission of SkillsUSA. As the State Reporter, Lauren highlights the achievements and events of the organization through social media along with showcasing the accomplishments of SkillsUSA Massachusetts members to a wide audience. As a student, Lauren is a junior in the Legal and Protective Services program at Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School and hopes to work as a navy fighter jet pilot or a behavioral analyst for the FBI. Outside of SkillsUSA, Lauren likes to stay physically active playing multiple sports including Ice Hockey and Lacrosse. Along with staying physically active she likes to stay mentally active by always having her nose in a book preferring history or true crime books. She has her Framework certification, CTE Knowledege Certification and Communicating with authenticity certification all from SkillsUSA and she is CPR and AED certified, along with Stop the Bleed certified, and is Police Mountain Bike trained and OSHA 10 certified in General Industry Safety and Health.
