Pam Dorwin

Pamela Dorwin is the Curriculum and Professional Development Manager for SkillsUSA Massachusetts. In this role, Pam oversees the State Executive Council’s completion of professional development coursework for certification credentials, guides Chapter Advisors through the process of effectively utilizing available curricula within their schools and generates and manages all online exams used for the SkillsUSA Massachusetts District and State skills competitions.

Pam is a retired Business Technology instructor who taught for 33 years at McCann Technical School in North Adams, MA where she was instrumental in leading her program through many changes in focus over the years, from data processing and computer programming to business technology and marketing/management. While at McCann, Pam also served as a SkillsUSA Chapter Advisor, encouraging students to join and be actively involved.

In her free time, Pam enjoys traveling to new places, attending concerts and other events with her family, and creating scrapbooks of the memories made. Pam attended high school at McCann Tech, earned an associate’s degree from Berkshire Community College, and completed her teaching license coursework at Westfield State College. Pam has also earned Microsoft Office Specialist certifications and is a SkillsUSA Career Essentials Certified Teacher.
